DragonFire by Donita K. Paul

This is the 4th book in this series by Donita K. Paul. This one takes place again, 3 years into the future from the ending of the last book. Kale and Bardon are now married. The book doesn't hesitate to throw us right into the action and adventure from the first page. Kale and Bardon end up on seperate missions, finding out how much they really rely on and miss each other. They both go through extreme trials of mind, body and soul. So many battles take place as three evil forces battle to take over Amara. Will Wulder and Paladin be able to help them win? You'll have to read to find out. Amazing, amazing, amazing. I'll definately re-read this one in the future. At 346 pages long it took me about two days to read this book. Donita Paul has perfected her writing style in this series by this book and you just fly through it, page to page, longing never to put it down. My favorite of all the books in this series! A must read! 5/5 Stars!!!

  1. Oh, I love to read your reviews, Poetrygrl. Today I am doing edits on the book that comes out in September. The book is Dragons of the Valley and is the sequeal to The Vanishing Sculptor. There will be one more to this series, Dragons of the Watch. The last has a fantasy device similar to Brigadoon and Shangri La.

  2. Donita, You know I read Dragons of the Valley a while back but I never read The Vanishing Sculptor. I really enjoyed Dragons of the Valley and the way you wrote it worked well for someone who started in on it without reading Vanishing Sculptor first. I will have to look for Dragons of the Watch.
